Manipur University, December 6, 2025: The Department of Statistics, Manipur University, in collaboration with the Department of Statistics, Mangolnganbi College, Ningthoukhong, Manipur, successfully organized a One-Day National Workshop on “Determination of Sample Size” on December 6, 2025, in online mode.

The workshop aimed to equip participants with essential conceptual understanding and practical skills related to the determination of appropriate sample sizes for various statistical and research applications. The programme attracted participants from diverse academic institutions and professional backgrounds, reflecting wide interest in strengthening research methodology and statistical rigor.

The sessions were highly interactive, with participants actively engaging through question-and-answer segments and discussions. The online platform enabled smooth interaction, allowing attendees to share their experiences and challenges related to sample size determination in their respective fields of study and practice.

The workshop proved to be a significant success, fostering a collaborative learning environment and enhancing participants’ understanding of an important aspect of statistical analysis. Many attendees expressed appreciation for the insights gained and highlighted the relevance of the workshop in improving the quality and reliability of their research work.

The organizing committees expressed sincere gratitude to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement and valuable contributions.
