Memorial lecture in memory of the late Prof. Ch. Dhanachand

Manipur University, 17/09/2022: Every year on the 17th of September, 2022, the departments of Zoology and Botany organise a memorial lecture on any areas of health and human welfare in memory of the late Prof. Ch. Dhanachand.

The late Professor was a renowned Parasitologist and Zoologist. He had discovered a number of Nematode species new to Science. This year on this day of the 17th death anniversary and 16th memorial lecture, Dr S. Manikanta, former additional Director, Health services, Government of Manipur, delivered the memorial lecture on "Alzheimer and Dementia" in the conference hall, Life Sciences building at 11 am on Saturday, the 17th September 2022. Prof. R. Varatharajan, Dean, School of Life Sciences, presided over the function.
