Manipur University, July 9, 2026: The Manipur University Health Centre, in collaboration with Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt. Ltd., successfully organized a Free Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Consultation Camp on 9th July 2026 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Manipur University Health Centre.
The consultation camp was conducted by Dr. Radhakrishna, ENT Specialist, with the support of Ms. Sivani (Nursing Officer), Mr. R.K. Nirandeep (Business Development), and the transport team from Shija Hospitals. The programme was coordinated by the Medical Officer, Manipur University Health Centre, with the active participation of the Health Centre staff, ensuring the smooth conduct of the camp. The primary objective of the camp was to provide free ENT consultation services and promote the early detection and management of common ear, nose, and throat disorders among the students, teaching faculty, and non-teaching staff of Manipur University. Participants received clinical examinations, counselling, and expert medical advice for further treatment wherever necessary. A total of 18 beneficiaries availed themselves of the free consultation services during the programme. In addition to the medical consultations, Shija Privilege Cards were introduced and distributed to eligible beneficiaries. Participants were informed about the benefits of the card, including discounts on laboratory investigations, pharmacy services, radiology and imaging, medical procedures, room tariffs, health check-up packages, and complimentary OPD consultations, making quality healthcare more accessible. The programme concluded successfully with appreciation for the collaborative efforts of Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt. Ltd. and the Manipur University Health Centre in promoting preventive healthcare and creating greater awareness about ENT health among the University community. The initiative reaffirmed Manipur University's commitment to ensuring accessible, quality healthcare services for its students and staff.
