Activities on Observational Astronomy using small telescopes:

  1. Observer member of the Manipur University Observatory Team for the Orion Project , headquartered at Hopkins Phoenix Observatory, Phoenix, Arizona, USA which had observed  five variable stars in the Orion Constellation, namely, Betelgeuse, Mintaka, Alnilam, Rigel and Alnitak.
  2. Observation of the extremely rare spectacular event of the Transit of Venus on June 6, 2012 using 12 inches Meade LX 200 GPS telescope fitted with Coronado Solar Max II 90 hydrogen alpha filter at Manipur University, Imphal.
