One Day seminar on “Proper Hand Washing and Better Nutrition”

Manipur University 16/10/2021: One Day seminar on “Proper Hand Washing and Better Nutrition” was held at Manipur University, Centenary Open Air Theatre on 16th October 2021 in connection with Global Hand Washing Day, 2021 and World Food Day, 2021. The seminar was jointly organized by Manipur University NSS Unit I and II along with Manipur University Youth Red Cross Unit I and II. Resource persons for the seminar were Dr. R.K. Nimai Singh, Retired IAS (Topic: Relevance of hand washing with current COVID 19 pandemic), Shri Narendra Ningomba, Theatre Personality (Topic: Motivation of Volunteers along with Demonstration of proper hand washing) and Mrs Diana Thokchom, Assistant Professor, Department of Home Science, G.P. Women College (Topic: Importance of getting proper nutrition by the Students’ Volunteers). Dr. Maibam Nodiyachand, Program Coordinator NSS Cell, Manipur University graced the function as President and Dr. M. Macha Chaoreikanba of Department of Dance and Music had given the key note address. Around 60 volunteers participated during the seminar.
