Prof. Senjam Sunil Singh is Professor and Head of the Department of Biochemistry, Manipur University. He completed his MSc in Biochemistry from North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, and obtained his PhD from Manipur University. After serving for ten years at DM College, he joined Manipur University in 2007.He was awarded the DBT Overseas Associateship in 2014, through which he undertook post-doctoral research training at the renowned laboratory of Prof. Tzi Bun Ng, Chinese University of Hong Kong.Dr. Singh is a regular contributor of research articles in his field and serves as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals. His current research focuses on protein biochemistry, particularly the purification and biochemical characterization of plant lectins. His broader research interests include lectin biochemistry, enzyme biotechnology, and immunology.He is also deeply committed to teaching, with strong skills in imparting knowledge to students and organizing student-centric academic activities.
