Area of Research Interest: Gender Studies, Women’s Studies, Sociology of North East India, Social Stratification and Minority Studies. She has more than twenty published research papers in reputed national and international journals including UGC-CARE Listed, Scopus, Peer-Reviewed Journals, etc. She has presented/ delivered more than sixty research papers/ invited lectures at national/ international/ regional seminars, conferences and workshops across the country.
