Dean of Students' Welfare, Manipur University

The Dean of Students is a statutory officer of the University. He looks after the general welfare of the students and also provides appropriate encouragement for the sound and fruitful relationship between the intellectual and social life which contributes to their growth and development as mature and responsible human beings.

The Dean of Students advices and counsels students of the University in matters relating to:

  • Organisation and development of student bodies
  • Extra-curricular and sports activities
  • Promotion of students participating in co-currucular and social activities
  • Students-faculty and students-administration relationship
  • Residentials life of the students, and
  • Career counselling.
