One day workshop on Mission Mentorship for Atma Nirbhar Northeast was conducted on 18th February 2022 in the Department of Yoga which was jointly organized by the Department of Yoga, Manipur University, and NSS Cell Manipur University. North East Centre sponsored the workshop For Technology Application and MReach (NECTAR), Govt. of India, Vishwakarma Bhawan, New Delhi-110016. It was conducted to find enthusiastic young aspiring entrepreneurs who would love to be trained in emerging priority areas and become a digital powerhouse for the Northeast. Dr Maibam Nodiyachand Singh, Head of, Department of Yoga, MU, and the Program coordinator NSS-Cell Manipur University gave the keynote address. The workshop was moderated by Dr Senjam Sunil Singh, Co moderated by Dr N. Jiteswori Devi. During the seminar, Mr Augustine Veliath, formerly a communication specialist with the UN and former advisor to Govt. of India, spoke about the key aspects where the State Manipur can prosper. He also talked about different avenues where young volunteers can start their expertise, including heritage messenger, mojos, organic farming, etc. Manipur University NSS Program Officers and other faculty members of the Department and Yoga Department students and NSS volunteers have participated during the workshop.
