            Awarded Senior Fullbright Fellowship by United States Educational Foundation in India.

The University granted duty leave in favour of Prof. Amar S Yumnam    from 26.8.2006 to 29.6.2007 to enable him to  join University of South  California, USA

3.              Prof. Ch. Yashawanta Singh

    Department of Linguistics,

    Awarded Fullbright Fellowship for visiting University of California, USA by  United States Educational foundation in

     India.

The Manipur University granted duty leave in favour of Prof. Ch. Yashawanta Singh from 1.10.2006 to 31.1.2007

Awarded Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowship 2006 by Common Wealth Scholarship Commission in the United Kingdom.
