A Brief Introduction


Professor Raj Kishor Gartia got his M Sc Degree from NIIT Rourkela (Fomerly known as REC, Rourkela) in the year 1971 after which he continued his research work at IIT Kharakpur and got his Ph D degree in the year 1978 on thermoluminescence.

On the research front his area of interest are Mathematical Modelling of glow curves, Luminescence Dating, Dosimetry. Prof Gartia had work with professor John Prescott (Australia) , Prof T Sakurai (Japan), Prof L Ray (France).
