- Prehistory: Palaeolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic tools, bone and antler implements original and models, potsherds.
- Technology and Museum Method- The department has museum hall of 19 x 90 ft. and a separate treatment room of the museum articles. The museum has good collections of Ethnographic materials such as hunting, fishing, war, agricultural implements, fabrics and ornaments, musical instruments, potteries, basketries, and precious collections of delicately embroidered traditional attires of Royal families, etc. and photographs in traditional dresses of ethnos of the region.
- Osteology and Osteometry: Two complete human skeleton sets, one male and one female: disarticulated skeletons of both sexes, foetal skull, skulls of macaques (male and female), Osteometric board, Diaptographs, Tubular craniophore, Cubic craniophore, Mollison's craniophore, Diagraphs, Parallelograph, Static goniometer, Attachable goniometer, Palatometer, Mandibulometer, Horizontal needle, Bone clamps, Measuring tape and Calipers( sliding and spreading types)
- Anthropometry and Kinanthropology: Anthropometer, Stadiometer, Weighing machine, Sliding and Spreading calipers, Verficator, Measuring tape, Skinfold calipers (Holtain and Herpenden types), Dactylometer, Pelvimeter, Infantometer (small and large types) Spirometer, Grip meter, flexo meter, Ergonomic bicycle, Fat monitor(fat mass analyser digital), Body composition analyser(digital), Stop Watch.
- Physiology: Sphygmomanometer, Stethoscope, ECG (portable)
- Dermatoglyphics: Inking method of printing (using duplicating ink): Inking glass slab, Printing wooden roller, Magnifying lens, Ridge (Henry) counting lens, Computer with scanner; powders of Black and Grey colour.
- Serology: Centifuge machines (three), Autoclave, Hot air oven, BOD incubator, Water bath, Haemocytometer, Sahli's Haemometer, Lab Analyser (J Mitra), Glucometer, Electrophoresis (2 horizontal tanks and 1 vertical), Microscopes (3), Refrigerator (2), and Distilled water plant. UV ray chamber. Digital balance.
- Molecular Anthropology: Tripple distillation, Deep Freezer (-80°c), Micro centrifuge, Eppendorf PCR, Centrifuge and Micro pipettes.
- Audio-Visual laboratory: Sony Digital movie camera with stand, Sony camcorder, Sony digital Still camera with 7.2 MgPxl, Nikkon celluloid still camera, Folding screen, Overhead projector, Slide projector, Epidiascope, LCD projector, Laptop (Hp), Processing and editing desktop.
- Field work accessories: Tents, folding cots, sleeping bags, mosquito nets, utensils, gas cylinders and stoves, Altimeter, Sylva Compass, Binocular, Power generator, Water pump, Digital and celluloid still cameras, Camcoder.
- Conference Hall: The department has an Air conditioned Conference Hall with Godrej Encarta conference table fitted with 31 Ahuja conference microphones and revolving chairs. Seating capacity at present is 70.
- Seminar Hall: A separate seminar hall is also maintained for regular weekly seminars of the students and scholars. It is also fitted with public address sound system (Ahuj a).
- Computer Hub: Eight Desktops for the students with internet facility and printing accessories (laser printers). UPS of 2KVA of 1 Hr back up. A separate printing chamber with Hp (3 in one) Inkjet and Laser colour printers ( Scanner, Fax and photocopy), XEROX photocopier. Power generator (diesel silent mode) of 5 KVA.
- Library: It is named as "Dr L. Rajendra Singh Library" as a mark of honour of his contribution to the introduction and development of Anthropology in Manipur. The library stores precious collections donated by Dr L. Rajendra himself such as Ethnicity (Ed) by Nathan Glazer and Daniel P Moynihan, Social Organization by Robert H.Lowie., Primitive Society by Robert H. Lowie and Up From The Ape by E.A. Hooton, etc. and about 100 books of Anthropology and some 800 field reports of PG classes. Step has taken up to make available of either hard or soft copy of PhD theses in the library. In short, now the department is not behind fellow department of other universities in the country in terms of infra structure.
