General Administration:

Academic Section : The academic section deals with all academic matters such as fixation of annual academic calendars, notification and issue of admission order for all the academic courses, prescription of syllabi and regulations, academic awards to the students.

Faculty Section : Faculty section deals with all service matters of the faculty members such as leave matters, leave travel, recruitment, deputation and  participation in seminars and symposia etc. It maintains the SR of the faculties.

UGC Section : This Section deals with matters relating to the University Grant Commission particularly recommendation of research projects, maintenance of progress reports of the completed and on-going research projects, circulation of UGC letters to the Schools of studies and Departments, Principals of the affiliated colleges, etc. Over and above, this section maintains statistics of the University and also deals with all the correspondence of the project-funding agencies like Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, Department of Science & Technology, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Indian Space Research Organisation etc. It conducts National Educational Test under the sponsorship of UGC. Further this is the only section dealing with the correspondence of research and exchange programme with foreign countries through the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
